Julia Solomon MDCM, FACOG is a national and international authority on 3-4D ultrasound and fetal echocardiography, and lectures on these subjects worldwide. Her particular expertise is advanced prenatal diagnosis and fetal echocardiography.

Dr. Solomon is a Senior Member of and currently Chair for Obstetrics for the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. She is a Fellow and Member of American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a Member of Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology and The Fetal Heart Society. She has also served as a co-director of the internationally known Phoenix Fetal Cardiology Symposium for the last 8 years. She has held both academic and clinical leadership positions in both Canada and the US.

 

She has published in these fields in the form of journal articles and book chapters, and reviews for several prestigious scientific publications. She has extensive experience with high level diagnostic ultrasound services, protocol creation, telemedicine interpretation, sonographer training and ultrasound system evaluation.

She teaches and conducts hands-on courses in a variety of ultrasound topics worldwide, and lectures for GE Healthcare in the Women's Health customer care (Voluson) courses.
